The Athens-Clarke County Endowment Fund was established in 1995 to:
- Provide long-term financial support for the acquisition of up-to-date materials in all formats, keeping apace with changing technologies and trends.
- Increase public awareness of library needs for continuous improvement of library services.
- Promote library contributions which enrich and improve the quality of life in our community.
Libraries exist through public funding, but private gifts and
community support allow them to flourish.
