With a valid library card you can borrow a Georgia State Parks Annual ParkPass and an individual Historic Sites Visitors Pass for up to 7 days. The ParkPass exempts you from paying the daily parking fee at state parks and the Historic Sites Visitors Pass exempts one visitor from admission fees to any state historic site in the state.
A copy of the Guide to Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites featuring descriptions, photos, directions and a map of all locations is included.
So take your family or yourself to a state park or historic site and see how much fun being outdoors can be. Come discover the treasures of Georgia in your own backyard.

Downloadable audiobooks are now available for library patrons to download for free. A consortium of Georgia libraries has selected a custom collection of audiobooks for our patrons. This service, "Georgia Download Destination," is hosted by OverDrive. OverDrive Audiobooks can be downloaded to your PC or Mac, burned to a CD (when allowed by the publisher), or transferred to a supported portable device.
This service will be available 24 hours, seven days a week for patrons to download titles from home using their PINES library card and pin number. Patrons cannot download audiobooks at the Library. However, staff will be available to assist with questions related to this service.

Georgia Download Destination
Fridays, 10:30 a.m., General Purpose Room
Story time is every Friday at 10:30 AM. Story time includes stories, finger-plays, songs and crafts for literacy-based fun. It is open to children ages 2 to 5. This month's themes are: Dr. Seuss, Spring, and Royalty. There will be an Open Play time Friday, March 12.
Wednesdays, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Every Wednesday afternoon beginning at 2:00 Miss Jennifer will be in the lobby reading. Past selections have included mysteries and comedies for juveniles. Try to drop in one or all of these afternoons of fun reading and sharing.
As always, free and open to everyone. This month's classes will give you an introduction and tips to the Internet. Classes are now offered on Tuesday 2 - 3 PM or 7 - 8 PM and on Wednesday from 11 AM to 12 noon. Please pre-register as this is not a drop-in-style class. It is never too early to introduce your child to books and the joys of reading together! We’ll also present some rhymes and songs for exercise and bonding with your little one.

Kopp's Kritters will be bringing up to 5 different breeds of rabbits and will share a little bit about each breed. Children will be given an opportunity to interact with each rabbit. Rabbit breeds you might meet are English Angora, English Lop Eared, Flemish Giants, French Lop Eared, Mini Rex and Netherlands Dwarf. This program is geared towards children ages 5 to 10 and will be held Saturday, March 13 at 2 PM.

Learn to fold tulips, lilies, flower baskets and more to celebrate Spring! We’ll have patterns for all skill levels and a variety of festive papers and ideas.

The Spring Book Sale will be March 19 to the 27 during all library hours. A special preview sale for Friends members only will be on Thursday, March 18 from 5 to 8 PM.

Snuggle up in your jammies with your favorite stuffed animal and listen to bedtime stories at the library! We will have a small snack, peaceful tales appropriate for all ages, and a song or two.

After Hours for Teens Only!!! Your monthly opportunity for reading in peace or hanging out and drawing: and you don’t have to use your library voice! The library closes at 6 but will re-open at 8 PM for adult-supervised fun. Plan to be picked up no later than 10 PM.
Harold Enter's maritime paintings and Jack Hudson's hand-turned wooden bowls are on display in the library this month. The paintings are on the walls of the General Purpose room and Mr. Hudson’s bowls are in the glass case.
