With a valid library card you can borrow a Georgia State Parks Annual ParkPass and an individual Historic Sites Visitors Pass for up to 7 days. The ParkPass exempts you from paying the daily parking fee at state parks and the Historic Sites Visitors Pass exempts one visitor from admission fees to any state historic site in the state. | |||
![]() | Downloadable Audiobooks Now Available Downloadable audiobooks are now available for library patrons to download for free. A consortium of Georgia libraries has selected a custom collection of audiobooks for our patrons. This service, "Georgia Download Destination," is hosted by OverDrive. OverDrive Audiobooks can be downloaded to your PC or Mac, burned to a CD (when allowed by the publisher), or transferred to a supported portable device. | |||
The Life and Legacy of Jeannette Rankin
The Oconee County Library is pleased to be one of the venues - and co-sponsors - for this series of programs about the first woman elected to Congress. Programs will address Rankin's Georgia connections and concern for women workers, suffrage and participatory democracy, pacifist philosophy, women's legal status, America's role in the world and workplace justice. The series is presented by the JR 130 Committee.
