Family Connect
FamilyConnect is an online, multimedia community created by the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) and the National Association for Parents of Children with Visual Impairments (NAPVI). This site gives parents of visually impaired children a place to support each other, share stories and concerns, and link to local resources. The site also features a mom-authored blog, inspiring video testimonials from families, and articles authored by parents and experts in the field of blindness on multiple disabilities, technology, education, and more. From the personal to the professional, families will find all the resources they need to raise their children from birth to adulthood.

Musical featuring Yul Brynner's Academy Award winning performance and Rodgers and Hammerstein's score, it tells the true story of an Englishwoman, Anne, who comes to Siam as a schoolteacher to the royal court in the 1860s. She soon finds herself at odds with the king (Brynner).

Self Advocacy Network (SAN)
The purpose of the Self Advocacy Network (SAN), is to advocate for issues and/or concerns of individuals with disabilities. Multiple Choices is hosting the Self Advocacy Network on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm at Multiple Choices CIL located at 999 Gaines School Rd in Athens. Family Afternoon at the Movies
The next Family Afternoon at the Movies will be on Tuesday, June 24th at 3:30 in the Athens-Clarke County Library Auditorium. We will be showing the descriptive video "Spy Kids." Please note time change.
Spoken-Web
Spoken-Web is a Web portal, managing a wide range of online data- intensive content like news updates, weather, travel and business articles for computer users who are blind or visually impaired.
The site provides a simple, easy-to-use interface for navigating between the different sections and articles. Using the keyboard to navigate, a person who is blind or who has a visual impairment can hear the full range of an article content provided in a logical, clear, and understandable manner.
